Regional discovery series - The Hunter Valley

In our third episode in our Regional discovery series, Pete Mumford chats with David Tanchevski of Stone Hunter Valley. The Hunter Region, also commonly known as the Hunter Valley, is a region of New South Wales, north of Sydney. The Hunter Valley is one of the largest river valleys on the NSW coast, and is most commonly known for its wineries and coal industry. This area has a lot to offer and discover and has seen huge amount of buyer activity recently- many properties selling within two weeks of being on the market.
The Hunter region is an easy drive from Sydney and is a growing mixture of communities featuring one of Australia's best wine regions.

This region has also seen a marked increase in Sydney buyer activity and showing a healthy demand from investors.
David discusses the desire for lifestyle properties and also the increase in first home buyer demand.
Properties priced between $300,000 to $550,000 are currently on the market for less than two weeks.

We discuss the suburbs to look at as an investor, and what is happening with demand for rental properties in the area.
